I was reading a forum before this 'funny little thing' caught my attention. I was like, "Whaa..?" ROTFLMFAO. Kan..
I am experiencing muscle pain all over my body, especially on the lower body part, as a result of improper warming-down after a 2.5km's run. And thanx to the one-eyed instructor who kept on telling us to stretch our 'sartorius' with "One leg forward and, slowly bend the knees and lower.. And lower until you almost touch the floor... And hold." For 2 solid minutes.
Two point frikking five kilometres and I haven't jogged, let alone ran, like gadzillion years ago. My sport shoes were covered with cobwebs when I put them on. It was 16 minutes of misery, no thanx to my unhealthy lifestyle habit. I swear I was resoluting to really quit smoking afterwards.
Anyways, what happened is I went for some training provided for 'potential government servants' - dad's order. Some months ago, I took the exam on dad's order too. And I was totally conned to that training, I tell you. The invitation letter said it was a one and a half day training, instead it took the whole weekend. I really wanted to leave the hall when I learnt about it, but I was too tired from the 3 hours' drive from KL and thought heck with it, I've ponteng-ed keje already and got speed-trapped (thrice) for speeding my way here but still was the second last to arrive, well I'm here now let's just deal with it.
From the standard ice-breaking question (ie. "So, do you really want this job?") I posed to some of my groupmates, I am 90% sure I was the only one who was there but not really wanting to be there. Everyone, but me of course, were really putting on the effort to outstand others. And I must say, most of them were actually good. I, on the other hand, was doing all the do-not's in order to fail myself: I talked a lot, I asked questions when I shouldn't be asking, I was provocative and domineering.
I hope those good people I know when I was there, especially Kak Ima will get through to the next round. As for me, I don't give a rat's ass about it. Seriously I can't imagine working for the government. Ever! I mean, dresscodes and nosey kakak-kakak at the office and all.*rolls eyes*
So why the hell did I go eh? I was only testing the water. 'Test market' juga. Heh.
