i think..oops R.PK did it again!:)

These politicians, they run around like clowns in suits, trying to amuse the rakyat with stupid antics and yet think we are stupid enough to 'laugh' it off.

Insults! I am offended. Aren't you?

i think that will be it

I thought the worst kind of taxi touts only exist in airports. And bus terminals perhaps. Well, I'm just so wrong. It's everywhere, like mat rempit, mat bangla, mat indon and mat nepal in KL city.

I normally take the LRT whenever I go to KLCC even when the fuel price was still at 1.92/litre because why drive when the convenient LRT is just a stone's throw away and you can just hop on and hop off, right? So, I took the LRT lah.

I no longer shop for brands, since I discovered cheaper options (read:online shopping), oh and what a steal they are most of the times, but I figure most of the online boutiques are mostly rip-offs, I thought I could get something similar for much much cheaper in Sg. Wang. So the plan was to go to KLCC and take a cab to Sg. Wang.

I went to the taxi stand at the Jalan P. Ramlee wing, there was a line of idle taxis and out in one corner, some taxi drivers were chatting and smoking. A group of 5 foreigners came after me, but they got a ride first. Another group of Caucasians came and those taxi drivers came swarming like flies to dungs. It took me 10 minutes before any of them came approaching.

"Pergi mana?"
"Sg. Wang."
"Sg. Wang 18 ringgit eh dik."
"18 hengget???"

I waved him away. Another pakcik approached me.

"Sg. Wang 15 ringgit,ok dik?"
"Kenapa mahal sangat, pakcik?"
"Sekarang jam la."
"Tak boleh pakai meter eh?"

"Haven't you heard? Taxi meters are now extinct."

Haa tu diaaaa statement taxi driver, taxi meters are now extinct katenye...:P

Okay, I made up that last part. Feeling a bit irked by these teksi ulat and (that makes the driver to be known as) ulat taik, I switched to pegawai penguatkuasa mode and peeked in the first three taxis in queue and all three were meterless. Sapraiss sapraisss..*sigh* I am not a foreigner that you can ketuk as you like, at least try la to be considerate when putting a price to a fellow Malaysian.

KLC.C is badly infested by taxi touts. Shame. I know it's yesteryear's news but I thought something had been done about it? I hope these taxi touts drivers' driving license (what a mouth full!) will be revoked. And this to apply to bus and lorry drivers who drive recklessly too.

Anyways, I digress.

Online shopping is bad. Addictive. But worst of all, it's 'risky'. All of my online purchase were a size too big and the lovely gladiator I bought which took 7 days to arrive cannot be worn for ever (albeit the perfect design and perfect size and look so very perfect on me) because it has pigskin lining. Oh sedihnya..:(

I think I've learnt my lesson, and that's it - no more virtual shopping for me. I guess I am back to shopping malls and real-time shopping. I am definitely buying that pair of Heech gladiator sandal (but Sulliban rocks too) sementara stok masih ada. Definitely maybe, as a birthday prezent to myself.:)

Having said that, my birthday is like, 3 days and 10 hours away y'all.*hint hint* :P

i think we need to save the cheerleaders trees!

I am a subscriber of a magazine. Every issue shouts out awareness for the Mother Earth, but I don't see them doing their bit at all.

Every month, I will receive leaflets, contest forms and whatnots packed with my magazine. And not only that, every other week there will be letters from them to inform that I'm just a mail away from being RM764,650 richer, and with a detailed instructions, all I have to do is to send them the response letter annnnnd not to forget, I must enclose a payment for the fabulous special edition book/magazine/whateverthefock they're selling that week/month.

I am just annoyed with these (snail-)mail spam, because what did they say on cutting down on paper usage, energy wastage and saving the environment, when in actual reality they are using more papers than a printing factory? These promotional leaflets, apart from the magazine, goes straight into the trash.

And to tell me that I am the next lucky winner of that RM764,650 with all that copies of letters of assurances from the contest committees and even a specimen of cash prize cheque, it totally insults my intelligence. Pffft!

Bottomline is, Save paper, save the forest. Recycle yo.:)

i think i've made a mistake

I just cut my hair short. And now, I don't know what to say.. Don't know whether I like it or not. The boyfriend is very very very upset, that's for sure.*sigh*

I went back to my stylist after 10 months, since I moved out of Subang and started to frequent this so-called A-class salon around my area. Kuza, you think my hair is pretty hor? Well, my hair stylist didn't think so. He was pretty mad with my current do, he said it was rubbish. The cut, that is.

So I asked for a regular trim, since I'd like to keep my hair long and the boyfriend has strictly warned me many many times on the way to the salon, that I am not to cut it short.

A regular trim I asked. Jay, the stylist said he's going to fix the mess. I okay-ed everything he suggested because this Jay, he never failed me (yet). Snip snip snip and when I came to my senses, my hair was really short, like boy cut short. And the boyfriend was looking at me like a vulture watching its prey.

Was Jay getting back at me for not coming to his salon for so long and came back, insulted him with a bad hair cut from other salon that I now go to? What did everybody say about hair stylist and dermatologist again? You don't ever want to upset them. Yup. Damn right.

Well, I just have to live with this for another 6 months before it reaches my shoulder. (Shoulder aje? *sobs cries wails*) And convince myself that I look as good as Miss Portman in this hair. Okay, scratch that. My hair IS hideous.:(

Forget moral support from the boyfriend, he thinks I should really get a wig. Or maybe I should go to Jalan Masjid India and buy tudungs?:P

i think i won't be reading this if i were you

The electricity is tripping for the n-th time and here I am writing in the dark with the only source of light coming from the screen of my lappie.

I am having an overwhelming urge to pee but I am just too lazy to get up and find some candles. I know where it is, even in the dark I can easily find my way to the tool box cause that's where I keep my candles, and pliers, and screwdrivers, and cutter, and a multimeter; but I'm like glued to the couch.

Woke up this morning at 9 just to see the boyfriend off to work and climbed back into bed. Crawled out of bed at 11, read a magazine. Showered at 12 and took my own sweet time in the bathroom, and at 1pm, rushed to the nearest mini mart for ikan pari. For lunch today, Mr. Tiena requested for asam pedas ikan pari (cause I cook a mean asam pedas yo). Lunch was a disaster. I thought the stingray smelled funny when I took it out of the packing but I was too lazy to go down the mart again to complain or anything, so I cooked it anyway. We didn't touch the asam pedas at all.

He went back to his parents' and I was left to my own devices. Didn't do nothing much 'cept for checking on the ants in the kitchen every now and then; hoping them pest will carry back the granules of bait to their nest and mati cepat (kill! kill! die! die!), and then digging the fridge to feed my bingeing tummy and watch tv/flip through mag/surf the net.

I'm so freaking bored. At times like these, I wish (the boyfriend is going to cubit me for saying this), I wish I have a pack of ciggies to puff the time away. It's been *count on fingers* two?three? months without the sticks, I think I am doing okay. Despite being bugged by the awful withdrawal symptoms; the throbbing headaches, the rampant temper and the binge eating disorder. I am so gonna put on weight!:P

Ow, my left arm is numb now. I've been lying on my side and minimizing movements for fear of losing the signal of the free internet. Yeah I'm just cheap like that.

Thank you for spending your time reading my pointless rants and chronological order of the spasticity of my life. Told ya, I wouldn't read this if I were you.;)

i think i am for SALE!

Uh-uh, not me. This Snow White is..

for RM40 only!SOLD!

I bought this top from a friend. Saw it and fell in love at first sight because I'm a fan of tunic tops and they're just f.a.b.u.l.o.u.s in a simple kinda way. Sadly, I've got to let her go because I'm too cute (read: petite) and she's too huge for me.:(

You can style this up in every single way - you can pair it with leggings or skinnies and accessorize with funky necklace or chunky bracelet or lovely danglies, and an oversize bag to complete your look.. Very derrr Nicole Ritchie gittew.. Woot woot :P

This tunic can also be worn as a dress. What I love most about this tunic top/dress is the details on the puffy sleeves.:)
